Worst car rental company in SA

Renting a car ftom Thrifty has been one of the worst consumer experiences of my life. Not only were the final costs charged double that advertised on internet, but recovering the holding deposit charged to my credit card is an absolute nightmare! At signing of the agreement, it was declared that it takes 7 working days after returning the car to be refunded. It has been 12 working days since the car has been returned and you do not even manage to get hold of anyone at thrifty accounts/refunds department to talk to you.. Dealing with such a frustrating service provider is not worth the effort!
