Welcome to the world of incompetence

Made a booking almost 3 weeks in advance for a category R1 Nissan NP300 at the OR Thambo branch. Specifically confirmed with Valerie Bechoo that there would be no canopy on the vehicle, only to find on my arrival for collection at the airport that there were 3 vehicles, but all had a canopy. The desk agent Jan then asked me if I had someone with me that could remove the canopy!!!! I told him that it was not my responsibility to remove the canopy and that they were supposed to do it. He then phoned the depot to arrange another vehicle which he said would now take around 25 minutes. After 10 minutes he came back and said that the depot didn't have any available. They then managed to find one but it still had to go through the car wash and would still take around 30 minutes. This would now be more than an hour since I arrived for collection. When I checked why they couldn't just arrange 2 people and a spanner to take the canopy off, I was told that there was no one at the airport that could do that!! Must be really difficult to use a spanner. Finally got the vehicle at just after 07:00, which was an hour and a half after arriving
