Unprofessional Tasmika at OR Tambo

Repulsive customer service from Tasmika at the OR Tambo branch. I’ve rented 2 different vehicles in the last 3 consecutive weeks and all of a sudden I had a problem I’ve never had before, when I inquired why I’ve never dealt with this issue before Tasmika displayed unprofessional behaviour, sighing, saying “oh my God” with a condescending attitude, hanging her head over and publicly displaying how annoyed she was with the customer who was about to spend R1960.00 at Dollar Thrifty. I then requested to speak to the manager and she informed me the manager is not available and there’s no one else I can speak to besides her, I refused to believe that and eventually went upstairs and found the gentleman who inspects cars who was professional enough to call the manager for me. After a few minutes the manager resolved this problem. I went back downstairs and sat on the one of the chairs since I had a query; Tasmika, in my view, then decided to victimize me probably because I reported the matter to the manager against her wish, she asked me to stand and join the queue even though I had arrived before everyone that was in the queue, this caused me to spend a total of 1 hour 20 minutes at the branch, I arrived at 18:38 and left at 19:58 over something that her white male colleague had done in the less than 3 minutes when I was at the branch 2 weeks ago. Before leaving I told Tasmika that I’ll probably never rent a vehicle from Thrifty because of the treatment she gave me, and I said this intentionally in the hearing of another customer, Tasmika surprised me and ignored me and what I said, failing to salvage the situation, she offered no apology for the inconvenience caused, she didn’t even thank me for using Dollar Thrifty. Clearly she still hasn’t grasped how is that Thrifty is able to afford her salary as she cannot apologise to a customer who is about to take his money elsewhere. In the last 22 days I’ve paid Dollar Thrifty R7 400.00 for rentals, and this is someone Tasmika has opted to let walk away from Thrifty for the sake of her pride and gigantic ego.
