I booked a car (VW Polo) online and paid the required amount to reserve it.The car was booked for 19 Dec from 12:30 to 24 Dec.I arrived at the East London branch to pick up the car 3 hours late.I was told that there is NO car, they gave it away as I did not pick it up on time. They could not give me a explanation as to why they would give away the car on the same day without even notifying me.
When I asked for an alternative car there were no cars available. I asked for the refund and I was told it will appear in 7 days. What suprised me was the bad attitude of the branch Manager. She said\I have no cars and I am not going to build one".
Eventually after long argument she released a bakkie-a 2 seater with a canopy. The bakkie was a let down as it was uncomfortable compared to what I had booked and the space was limited. I took the bakkie on condition that I will not be billed for the shortfall as the bakkie was more expensive than the Polo.

The Manager did not take time to apologise for the inconvenience but persisted to be arrogant and disrespectful.

IF YOU WANT A HEADACHE BOOK A CAR WITH TRIFFTY !!!

"""
