Thrifty Withholding Holding Deposit

I returned the hired car on 2 January 2019. I have been inquiring about my holding deposit since 10 of January 2020 and I have received little feedback. I sent emails to all possible email addresses on their page, I've made several phone calls and I just get ignored. I am extremely frustrated at this point. I inquired about the holding deposit and the feedback that I got was that "the deposit will not reflect as a credit or refund as it was automatically reversed into my bank balance". The amount does not reflect in my bank balance and I've noticed that a further R727.90 has been deducted from my account on 3 January 2020. I am extremely frustrated at this point and I do not know who I could as for further assistance.
