Thrifty WANTS to go out of business

I have used rental cars regularly for the last 30 years. Because there is so much on offer, service has always been the best. But Thrifty Lanseria is clearly trying to put themselves out of business. I rented a bakkie with a canopy. Two days before collection they phoned and asked me if I wanted a canopy. Well obviously if I asked for one. I want one. The canopy didn't close properly and could not lock. I requested another one. Even though I had an appointment in Boksburg, I had to drive back to Centurion later to collect another bakkie. I cancelled a further appointment because they said they can only help me before 5. Any requests to wait for me till 5.30 fell on deaf ears. The new rental had two bolts for which I had to go and buy locks for. Which would have cost me the same as a days rental. I had to pay car guards extra to keep my items in die bakkie secure.
