Thrifty *******

On Saturday (27th November), I called Thrifty Car Hire to rent a car for 2 days. We completed the application telephonically and they were very quick to debit my credit card with the rental amount (R3,100). When I went to collect the car at the airport, they refused to release the car citing a very lame excuse. I spoke to one of their managers called Rowan and we agreed that they will refund my money by Tuesday, 30th November. I got an email a few minutes later from one Avinska (after insisting that they commit in writing) saying that day that the funds will be in my account by Wednesday, 01st December.

No surprise, today is 01st December and no refund has come through from Thrifty *******. This is the second time I'm experiencing such an unpleasant experience with them.

Needless to say, this is the last time that I'll dealing with these *******, very unprofessional folk indeed!!

I await my refund.
