Thrifty Nightmare!

I rented a car from Thrifty in Cape Town for business use. We gave the credit card used to make the booking to our staff member to avoid any problems when collecting the car. It was a nightmare! The name on the card has to be the person collecting the car - or you need to have a sponsored booking which can only be done between Monday to Friday in office hours!!! Really!!! We then contacted "Rent a Cheapie" and what a different experience - everything was dont immediately and I received the refund for the deposit on my credit car today - not 14 days later! If a small business can deliver such amazing service whats wrong with the major rental companies??
