Thrifty is a misleading name.

Unfortunately AVIS was sold out on the day we needed to rent a car, so tried Thrifty Instead. <br> <br> Never again will we hire a car through this company, it was just one disappointment after another. Firstly the paper work took over half an hour, but that I could handle. My BIGGEST complaint is all the hidden fees, Thrifty should think of changing their name to thefty, even once we were in the parking lot someone ran out to say they needed ANOTHER deposit. <br> The other problem I have is if a company is going to give a similar car to the one reserved then it needs to be similar, Chevy is a slap in the face when you are expecting Nissan or similar. The car we were given has no power and as I pointed out before driving out it was not in the best condition either.<br> We finally were able to drive out with our disappointing car an hour later, unfortunately we did not have a choice or we would have walked away.
