THRIFTY DO NOT PAY BACK DEPOSITS

Good Day

ON the 14th of September I hired a car from Thrift. Car hire reference number ***. When hiring the car the deposit was double the amount I normally pay, and despite asking to amend my booking to the standard deposit of R3000, the front line staff were unwilling to assist.

I was advised that the deposit refund would take 3 to 7 working days.

I have since followed up with the call centre several times, logged tickets on their website and escalated my query to senior management.

The call centre have advised that the deposit was released on the 17th of September. However 16 working days the funds have not reflected in my account.

I am concerned that there is internal ***** in the company and my funds have been misappropriated. Kindest Regards
