Thrifty car rentals

We rented a car recently. There price was half the price of a competitor where we get 40% discount thru a wellness program. They did not discuss any terms and conditions when we collected the car. There was no problem with the car. The catch was that they put a block on your credit card or debit card and after you return the car they never remove the block. When you phone them they only than explain that it can take up to 14 days for the block to be taken off. This is not acceptable. They get the interest for 14 days on your money and you are out of pocket. Next time I will rather pay double and get may deposit back once the car is returned. Still waiting for my money Thrifty?
