Thrifty Car Rental Has Not Refunded Me and It Has Been Over a Month

I paid in full for a rental car that I was supposed to collect from the Cape Town International Airport branch on 17 September 2021. They refused to release the car to me due to my credit score even though I had paid for the car in full? That's okay, I understand this is company policy. However, I was told that I would be receiving a refund for the car I paid for. That was a month ago. I have called Thrifty 4 times now, always being passed on to the next person and then they hang up the phone call or do not answer. I was told to email someone named Moaaz, no response. I was then told to email a Melissa, again no response. I emailed their customer care and still received no response. Thrifty, after one month, four phone calls, 3 unanswered emails and no refund - I will now be on my way to small claims court.
