Looking for financial ruin? Then rent a car from Thrifty! They say they insure and charge a waiver but if you as the renter hit a car from behind, YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR ALL DAMAGES. It's hidden in the small print along with a host of other exclusions. Accidents happen despite your best efforts, and I'm in for R33 000.00 for my slight bumper bashing. If I had hit a Ferrari I would be ruined. Don't make the same mistake I did, rent from a company that does cover you and read the small print.
