Thrifty Car Rental - An ************ Car Renatl Company

I hired a car from Thrifty Car Rental on the 24th February 2022, deposit swiped for on that day was for R2000 only, but Thrifty actually removed 2 amounts from my Credit card ( R349. 21 and R1800. 87 = R2150. 08). I have called and tried to get my deposit back but the lady at Thrify ( Kemendri Nair) gave me a letter for R2000 and told me thst I must take it up with my Bank to get ny deposit back. I have since visited the bank twice and each time I am told that Thrifty has not released the deposit. I have sent numerous emails to Kemendri with no response, when I call, I cannot get hold of her or her Manager and the call cuts off. 1. How do you swipe your card for R2000 and they actually take out R2150. 2. Why will Thrifty Car Rental not return my deposit. I WILL NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO DEAL WITH SUCH A SCRUPULOUS COMPANY CONSIDERING THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO RETURN MY DEPOSIT AFTER 14 DAYS. IT IS NOW ALMOST 4 MOBTHS AND THRIFTY CAR RENTAL HAS STILL NOT RETURNED MY DEPOSIT. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THIS COMPANY
