Want Bad service - Talk to Linda and her Team at Thrifty Car Rentals in Stanza Bopape street, Pretoria ... they are experts in BAD service - no wonder AVIS, BUDGET & FIRST CAR RENTALS outshine them by far! I booked a rental car 2 days prior to collection - upon collection they lost the booking, Then according to them we collected the car late that was why it was cancelled - which wasn't the case ... then we extended the car hire to 9 November 2019 on the 4th of November 2019 and funds were taken from my credit card for this addition. ... on 6 November 2019 we received a phone call that the car is late and should be returned immediately, at that moment we were in Johannesburg and was forced to make payment otherwise they will see it as High risk ... note I have extended on the 4th of November 2019 to the 9th of November 2019 and my credit card my credit card has been charged. I was then again forced to make payment!!! Note to Linda and your "Supervisor" - PLEASE ENSURE YOUR PHONE IS ON MUTE BEFORE YOU SLANDER THE CLIENTS OVER THE PHONE - WE HEARD EVERY SINGLE WORD! It took over 2 hours to be served and get somebody to assist us ON OUR INITIAL COLLECTION! I will spread the news far and wide! Pathetic service and arrogant staff ... and also Linda your sarcasm - rather keep it for yourself and don't through the phone call down in the Customers ear - especially while they are still talking. GO FOR A MANAGEMENT COURSE OR IF YOU CAN'T TAKE PRESSURE - FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO!
