Thrifty Car Hire **********

I booked a Toyota Quantum from the 15th December to 17th December which I later changed to return on the 18th December 2020. The vehicle was brought back on the 18th as promised to the Randburg branch where it was picked up. We were informed that the refund less whatever deduction would be paid to me in 7 - 14 days, today (8th January 2021) marks exactly 3 weeks since the vehicle has been returned. On the 29th December an amount of R1709.86 was deposited into my account and on the 30th reversed as this was an incorrect amount, the correct amount due to me is R8840. I contacted Thrifty only to be informed that the payment was made on the 24th December but I have not received any payment to the correct value and when I asked for proof of this payment I was informed that it would be emailed to me, I still am waiting for this email, in the mean time I have sent *** a 3 months bank statement which reflects no refund of the correct value going into my account and am also still waiting for a response. January is a long month and this money will go a long way in survive it. Apparently Thrifty refunds department doesn't operate via Phone but only email which they don't respond to.
