Thrifty Car Hire - Centurion

We made reservations for a rental vehicle a month before the date of travel- 1 October The service we received was poor, inefficient and very disappointing. The vehicles we were given were in an awful condition. They were filthy and the manager and one person were busy washing the vehicle. Made my husband wait almost 1.5 hours while this was being done. Vehicles are old and have rattles. The second vehicle we got had tyres that were thread bare! We were told to drive to Kempton Park to their head office to have the tyres changed. A journey that was going to start at 10am started at 2pm and we eventually drove in our own personal car. The lack of urgency or efficiency from the staff was disappointing to say the least. I would strongly advise against ever hiring through this company as their vehicles are unroadworthy and their service is oretty atrocious. Thrift Car hire in Centurion
