Thrifty Capetown airport deposit refund

My husband had a returned thrifty rental on the 22nd of March and was surpose and was advised he would receive he,s deposit with 7 to 10 days.however that is not the case.we have been trying to call thrifty airport and was advised that we should call our bank to check with them coz there's nothing outstanding on their side.very poor service on their side because I don't know what the banks involvement is.if the funds were released we would have gotten notification and it would show on the bank statements.iv never even had to do a follow on tempest or Europe car and this is not the 1st time I'm iv heard that they tell you to go ask the bank. I will do follow up with this and will surely go to thrifty airport branch myself and they must give me answers and will go back to tempest because this just looks like a big **** to me on their side.iv been send them countless amails and nobody has gotten back to me.poor service.i spoke to a Janine and I was told to go to the bank.
