They ***** your money and don't give any cover
<p>I hired a vehicle from thrifty and drove into Botswana with it. I hit a *** on the highway (which happens daily there) and then I was told I am liable for the full cost of the vehicle as it is a single vehicle accident. What is the use of taking any waiver or insurance out then if it doesn't cover a accident. Pathetic service as well. </p> <p> </p>

Single vehicle accident as stated in our Terms and Conditions refers to an Accident where the client and only the client is involved with no other vehicle involved on the road. In this instance where the client was involved in a single vehicle accident he will be charged double the Standard Waiver Excess. If the damages are less than the excess then only the damages will be charged and then a refund will be done for the difference.
