Sucky Car Hire Service

I am just overall very disappointed with this car hire service. It took at least 20 minutes to get the paperwork done and get the key for the car. The car wasn't in very good shape. It had a few dings and the passenger door was difficult to open, it also had a few issues changing gears. Thrifty also has a bull**** policy about returning your deposit. 4-7 working days? That's unacceptable. If Hertz and Europcar can return it the next day, Thrifty shouldn't be allowed to hold on to my R6000 and earn that interest for a whole week. Returning the car was easy enough, the assistant was very helpful but that's all that was according to my expectation. I won't be using Thrifty again.
