What a horrible experience with thrifty. I would strongly suggest you rent with any other that thrifty. I booked a car and PAID to collect it at 10pm, so we arrived at 9.30pm 8th of feb, stood in a que until 10.20pm, finally went to the car and it was parked in????? What the **** wait another 20mins for the car parked in front of the rental to be mooved? Further they deduct money from your account without any reason, R105.31 was deducted with no written reason from my account i got a full car, that droped one bar on the fuel gauge as i drove off, i FILLED it up when i gave it back. Im still waiting for my R2000 deposit to be reversed on your mobile POS machine as the computers one was not working. Sort this **** out and get out of my LIFE your opposition reverses deposits within 3 days. I never had any problems with HERTZ in the past and would strongly suggest anyone to use them. God i had the car for a ****ing day and a halve and now i have to wait a month to get my R2000 back? If i dont have my money back within the next 5 days i will dispute it with my bank and instruct them to reverse it. You dont have any proof that i agreed to you taking money from my account without my signature. There was no problems when i gave the car back and had to wait 15mins to be assisted there too. Pathetic
