Stay away from these *******!

I always used Thrifty in the UAE when I worked there, so when I needed to hire a bakkie I went with them here in SA too. The first time everything went smoothly, and they didn’t “*****” my holding deposit, so I used them a second time. What a mistake!! This time, instead of just putting a hold on the amount on my credit card, they actually deducted it, and now I have to wait 14 working days to get it back (if I ever do!!). Only problem is, being the festive season, that amounts to more than 3 weeks. And interest is not earned or paid on a working day basis, so while they are earning a very profitable interest from everyone else’s “******” money, we are all paying interest on our credit cards!! Really not on, Thrifty.
