STAY AWAY - BAIT AND SWITCH EXPERTS

I rented numerous vehicles from Dollar over the next month via [URL Removed] I specifically had booked a 7 seater van which was meant to be collected on Sunday, on arrival at the terminal I was told that the only mini vans that you had were 5 seaters and effectively accused of lying with regards to which vehicle I had booked. I was told that I could rent an 8 seater van for just under R20,000.00! This type of predatory practice (bait and switch) is totally unacceptable and leaves Dollar in a VERY poor light.<br> <br> I obviously refused to be *********ed and went to Avis and rented a car which cost me a lot more than it should have because of the last minute reservation.<br> <br> Even after pointing out to Dollar that the vehicle that I rented was STILL available at the rate I booked TODAY on Expedias web site they still chose to ignore my concerns.<br> <br> Leaving a family of 6 with luggage stranded at the airport after a 20 hour flight is just NOT OK, STAY AWAY!
