Shocking Thrifty Service and Non Deposit Reversal

My American friend left South Africa on the 19th of January. His credit card had a R6000 hold on it for the car rental. Today is the 24th of March and he has still not received his deposit refund!

Besides being very embarrassing, the customer service at Thrifty is the worst I have even encountered. Staff are not helpful at all, I have been going round and round and they keep snowballing me. Worse yet, this is knowing there is an existing issue with these deposit refunds. I am so frustrated I have a good mind to go open a case with the police! This is totally unacceptable behavior by a company. They are playing with people's money!

Thanks to this experience we will never use or recommend Thrifty to anyone again!
