Shocking Service from Reservation to Branch

We booked a vehicle to be collected from the airport this week. We have an additional driver (who we are paying for) however, we have been told the additional driver also needs to be present when collecting the vehicle. The additional driver is being picked up 2 hours away after we have collected the rental. Please can you let me know how you expect the additional driver to be there to collect the rental, if we are hiring a car to go an pick them up. Yesterday i was advised that we could make an arrangement with the branch (Who never answers there phone or emails) Central reservations sent Abdul an email requesting assistance on this and still no feedback. Today I spoke to the complaints department who advised they cant help, i had to speak to the person that made the reservation to follow up with the branch. That person is not in today. Then spoke to Mohammed who advised me i cant speak to a manager as he is the one tat makes the decisions and this is company policy. This is the worst service I have ever experienced from a rental company. All other rental companies have no vehicles this weekend only thrifty, and now i know why. The service is shocking!
