Shocking service and unauthorized deductions on credit card

My mother hired a car which we returned in the 22nd of March at the Somerset West branch. The car was confirmed to be in perfect condition and was returned with a full tank of petrol. We paid for the car hire in full at the time of booking online.

It seems a second charge came off her credit card on the same day for a substantial amount of money which seems to have been the holding deposit placed on her card at the time of picking up the car. I have been trying to make contact with Thrifty for the past 6 weeks in regards to refunding this money and my emails are continually ignored.

According to other reviews this seems to have happened quite a few times recently. How many people have you ****** money from and then ignored them Thrifty?
