I rented an old Nissan NP200 (with over 70 000kms on the dash, this past weekend. Had a puncture and replaced the tyre. Thrifty sent me an invoice with damages for the tyre of R1400. FOR A NISSAN for a Nissan NP200 tyre?. At claims they said no we take the tyre you replaced and sell it off and buy a new one for R1400???? What NPtake R1400 rand worth of one tyre. Thrifty is a massive rip-off and when you drop off the vehicle the guys dont tell you the process because they are excited to take the tyre and sell it. Im done with thrifty. Thank God it was only my second time. There is a reason whey they are called Thrifty...
