RE: Non-refund of supewaiver excess holding deposit
On the 18th of April 2018, I hired a vehicle from Dollar Thrifty Car Rental from O.R Tambo International branch. I paid a super waiver excess holding deposit of R 2 000 on the above-mentioned day.I returned the vehicle with a fuel tank, on the same day which was inspected by a representative of the car rental company. No issues were identified with the vehicle.Proof of receipt of payment of reimbur*****t of fuel was provided to a representative of the company.
In terms of the agreement, the super waiver excess holding deposit of R 2 000 should have been refunded to my bank account within 7 days from the last day of use of the rental vehicle. I have not recieved my refund of deposit as yet!
I have made numerous phone calls to the call centre. Each and every phone call was forwarded to the Branch Manager of the car rental company at O.R Tambo International. However, the Branch Manager never answered my phone calls to date.
I am genuinenly concerned that I will never be refunded my holding deposit.
Personnaly, I will never ever hire a vehicle from Dollar Thrifty Car Rental again.
I am currently exploring all legal avenues made available to me.
My Reservation No is ********** 3.
Thank you.
