Poor service from Dollar Thrifty and zero followup

dollar thrifty took the liberty of debiting my account for fuel spent after issuing me a vehicle that almost took me out of the road because of front wheel suspension and balancing. I laid a complaint about the vehicle on my way back from the Eastern Cape. I was on my way to work in Durban and I had to report for duty late because of the car. I had to travel at no more than 70 km/hr to keep the vehicle on the road. After a number of calls, they offered to exchange the vehicle with another when I arrive in Durban. Their driver picks up the vehicle with fuel above a quarter tank. Next thing, I get a notification from my bank that thrifty took a full tanks worth from my account! Without my permission! They never accounted for putting my life in danger by issuing me a car that was clearly unfit to be on the road! I have not heard from them since and I have received nothing but bad attitude and horrific service from their staff. And zero apologies for putting my life in danger! If they had the decency of informing me to refuel the vehicle before they exchanged it, I would have paid a fraction of the amount I was billed. I am NEVER using their rental services!!
