Outstanding Refund, No Communication, Sent from Pillar to Post

Thrifty has always been the car rental company of choice for me and a few of my colleagues and friends. However, after this experience I shall take my money elsewhere.

I rented a vehicle for half a month...from 30/08/2017 - 15/09/2017 (Invoice: ********** ). Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to return the car sooner than I had anticipated. Consequently, I had a credit of two days - R599.40. As stated above, the contract ended on 15/09/2017. Which means it has been 2 months but the refund has still not been paid. The branch (if at all they answer) says I should call head office...head office (also if they answer) takes me back and forth between Rushiel Porthen and Crushen Moodley.

I would like to think that a company of your size has sufficient capacity and training to either do what needs to be done or communicate effectively and in good time should you not be able to do what needs to be done. Alas, Dollar Thrifty is not bothered by any of that.

Needless to say, I will not be spending any of my hard earned money renting a car from your company. However, you will be hearing from me through my legal representative.
