One of Dollar Thrifty vehicles drove into me/ still no call from claims

<p>I am Mrs LM Steyn, driver and owner of an ETIOS 2013 model, Reg CA 934758.</p> <p> </p> <p>On Saturday morning at 9.15, one of your vehicles Reg FH38NS*GP, hit my Etios on Long/Strand street Cape Town. Your vehicle hit my back bumper and side of car, and back light on the right hand side is chipped away( the thick red stained cover, as well as my door on the driver side has a dent in. The dent in my door is from the passing of the Kombi or the spatter of stone or the pieces of your Kombi , as the drive of the Kombi did not dead stop next to my car when he hit us , but still drove till by the Long/Strand Street robot. My Etios was parked in the parking bay, we were at Market Jewellers and when we came out, only to find this had happened.</p> <p> </p> <p>The attached pictures shows the above description, pictures of Thrifty Car Rental’s vehicle, the driver of the Kombi’s drivers Licence etc.</p> <p>I immediately called the police, who came, attached in the accident report number and docket 423/12/2016, the Police person on site is Captain Harrington, with the Cape Town Police.</p> <p> </p> <p>We also, whilst the police were there contacted your company, a Malcom on ********** 019 to advise of the accident, later a lady from you Cape Town office called from ********** 137 who advised me that there was nothing she could do in relation to my car, her concern is your vehicle. We had some exchange of words and she told me that she would have her manager call and to date NO manager had the decency to call.</p> <p>It is now 11.20am and no one contacted me from the claims depart. Redaa Samaai advised me in an email that DARELL DENERE IS MY CONTACT PERSON,at 9.14am this is email I sent to Redaa and Darell and still nothing!!</p> <p>"On referral from the email below, I have tried calling you or tried getting hold of you but to no avail.</p> <p> I called ********** 111 and the told me that you are no longer stationed with them but at the airport, I called the airport number ********** 114, they say you are not there you are still at the depot...I called back there and now they say you are at a terminal or atleast the lady says she thinks you are there.</p> <p> I find this unacceptable that no one knows where you are, and I urgently need answers from you..ASAP.</p> <p> Could you please forward me your contact details or please contact me then on ********** 283 (O) or on my cell ********** 612"</p> <p>I called Redaa now again, only to tell me that many accidents happens on a weekend and I am in a QUEUE, I want to know is it not common courtesy from such a reputable company to atleast keep me informed wrt proceedings etc, instead of just dead silence.... I WAS NOT THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCIDENT, MY CAR WAS STATIONERY IN PARKING BAY, ONE OF DOLLAR THRIFTY'S VEHICLES RODE INTO ME!!!!!! BUT I HAVE TO CALL AROUND, EMAIL AROUND. I SENT ALL DOCS THROUGH TO THEIR CLAIMS/CUSTOMER CARE LINE/REDAA!</p> <p>I NEED THIS MATTER SORTED SOONEST, I WANT ANSWERS, I NEED MY CAR FIXED!</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards</p> <p>Mrs LM Steyn</p> <p> ********** 612</p>
