Nightmare in rental deposit release

I rented 2 cars 3 days apart, the first car was too big and I only wanted a small run around. I had to pay a deposit twice, one for the first car and when I returned it I paid another deposit for the second rental ( ok, no problem). I returned the first car and the deposit was promised in 14 days. I am not sure whether it was 14 days or 14 working business days. I had to call at least once a day after day 21 after the return of the first car. I was told that the lady who is supposed to release my money is busy or off sick. When I finally got hold of her she was so rude. I only asked her to explain the policy to me so that if I was not going to get my money back soon at least I know. She put the receiver on my ear several times and finally out of the goodness of her heart she released both deposits. If I had known at the time I would not had used this Car Rental Company. Too much heartache.
