Never use this company, horrible service where everyone you will deal with is a ****

The absolute worst car rental company to deal with, if you're here, I take it you already know, and I'm sorry you had to deal with them.

Booked a car for a single day, 04/Jun/2019, and returned it the next day, no problems. The policy on their site says the security deposit is returned 4-7 days after return, and 7-14 days for international, so since mine was rented @ OR Tambo it's local.

First issue I had was to get the invoice (keep in mind that Avis sends it to you automatically 24-48 hours after return), I called multiple times through their call centre and I spoke to so many people who promised someone would call me, and I finally gave up and went to get it @ the airport in person, an exercise that takes 2 minutes over the counter. What a waste of my time.

I then enquired on when the security deposit would be returned since it was now day 8 and it's still not returned. I was sent to a lady called Fahtima who handles returns, and what a **** she is. First told an instruction had been sent to the bank she will find out and get back to me, she took my number and promised she would get back to me same day, that was on the 4th, now it's just a run around where I call and she says she'll call back, or I get told she's not in, and will get back to me later....nothing yet 10 days after I returned it (again keep in mind that Avis returns it within 48 hours, no need to call them)

So @ this point, having ready many complaints on this site about this issue, I take it the only way to get my money is to go to the airport and start yelling to get my R10000 back...horrible and unnecessary, but I've learnt my lesson.
