Never again- Dollar Thrifty Car Rental CPT INT

I recently rented a car from the CPT airport office. The service I experienced from this company is pathetical, I landed at 9pm and was told to fetch my car in an unlit parking lot with no security. The other car rentals all had lights shinning on their cars. needless to say I could not check the car accurately. The cars provided by this company is of low grade and has either been in some sort of accident or missing some parts or damaged in some way. My particular car had a faulty petrol gauge.

I had the car for 3 days and returned it with a full tank as filled by the BP at the airport. I was surprised to see a petrol charge for R131.54. I escalated with the manager(Gail) and she apologized for the mistake and promised a refund. It has now been 4 weeks and no refund,

I strongly suggest that travelers and business people rethink before using this company as they firstly don't care about the quality of the cars they give you neither about the type of service they give to customers. It is also clear that they cannot recon their customers accounts.

I am proud to say that I will have peace of mind at AVIS car rental, where I have never had these type of issues.
