Mystery additional payments deducted for Carhire

After receiving a quotation to hire a vehilce,I confirmed the total costs and hired a vehicle from Thrifty.It was not thee type of vehcile offered but it did say \or similar"in the contract. The Datson Go vehicle I received was not very good but I nevertheless had little option. It broke down a few days after but fortunately this was in a garage close to the Airport and I managed to limp back to the Airport Offce after having had to be pushed out of the garage to bump start the vehicel. No apology for that but the vehicle was replced by another Datson Go.Th evehcile was returned at the endo f the hire. I was barely out of the Airport when and additional charge was debited to my account. I had returned the vehilce full of fuel and with out damage. I quered this addional charge by email and received a return mail staing that I would have an answer by Monday motning.It is now Wednesday evening and still no reply. This is a despicable way to do business and whilst I assume that some where in the small print it is deemed legal it is not right.Are ther any other horror stories?"""
