My uncles experience with Dollarge Thrifty

My uncle Ps SJ Zito hired a car from Dollar Thrifty last week Wednesday and was due to return it this coming Friday.

On Monday while travelling to Matatiele with his two boys (omdala is 15) they came across a cash in transit heist kuTsolo and my uncle got shot. As you can see on the video and pictures attached.

We called Dollar Thrifty (Joburg Office) and they told us that they were sending a tow truck and a replacement vehicle for them, but the guys got there took pictures and left. Tracking company came following day (was supposed to impound the car) but released the car back to my uncle.

He used it to move between Tsolo and Mthatha to consult doctors and today I went down to fetch them. Yesterday I called Thrifty to organise that we get a replacement vehicle in Umthatha and I be added as second driver and the lady from the Dollar Thrifty office promised to call me back (Still waiting for her call) but ke in the conversation she told me that she'd have to take deposit again, Kanjani nontombi?

So the tracking company reported the vehicle as ****** kwi Provincial SAPS, Same tracking company that released the car back to my uncle, same car that we were busy arranging that it be dropped off in Umthatha and we get a replacement.

Okay we told them we were the ones who were shot, Malume had to take off his shirt kulangqele, show drivers license and rental agreement yonke la **** and we were cleared. 3 more cars came, 1 from Red Alert KWT, 1 from NMB Metro and 1 from Province. Took pictures of us and the car, we narrated the story again and we were instructed to go straight to Thrifty and get a replacement vehicle as per instruction from Thrifty H/O

These guys were so insensitive towards this matter, two minors were involved in this whole traumatic experience, my uncle with 3 bullet wounds and only one being found seyehlele kwi Rib cage and they still treated them kanje ???
