more than a month of no refund on my deposit!!!!
rented a car at king shaka international airport with reservation number ********** been asking and asking a few times when my deposit will be returned to me, still have yet to receive an answer as to when I will be refunded my deposit after more than a month without it.

Thank you for addressing your concerns with Dollar Thrifty Car Rental.
Thrifty Car Rental do request a release for all deposits within 24 hours of a rental return and closing thereof, however the bank then capture / facilitate and manage the release of the deposit.
We as a merchant are subject to the banking laws of South Africa as well as their processes of which we unfortunately have no control over and therefore the duration of the release of the deposit can take between 7 working days depending on the bank for local / national customers and 14 – 21 working days for international customers.
