I have been using car rentals for a long time. At King Shaka airport I got outstanding service from Thriffty. So when I needed a car in Midrand, I booked and paid online, with Thriffty. On collection, what a disaster! I was made to regret daring to disturb the lady there. One of my middle initials was missing from the credit card. The same card I used with Thriffty in June. The same card I used to book and pay in Midrand, two days before. No amount of explanation helped. The lady was adamant that my life would be made miserable. It took nearly one hour to finally collect the car. Thriffty - never again.

Sorry Durban chaps, you deserve better colleagues.
