I want a refund! WORST COMPANY EVER!
<p>Thrifty car rental in south africa. They gave us a messed up car, with problems before hand. We have called after 200 km of driving and the engine is smoking. They told us to keep driving and would not call us back. They first said the call out fee is max 1200 rand, and we asked for a replacement to be sent out for the next day. The next day we call and there is no records of our calls. When we get a hold of them they ask about 10000 rand for call out and when we see they start trying to negotiate the call out fee. We are stuck in after 500 km because a lady told us to keep driving. There is still smoke coming out of the hood. The individual we are talking to is not helping us, and is saying we will be responsible for the damange even though we called right when the smoke was coming out. Worst company I have dealt with, ruining our trip. Instead of trying to fix the problem they are blaming us.</p>

No it is not resolved. Thrifty cape town charged over 450 euros (7000 rand) for a call out car that never came. I even have voice recording from employee stating we will not be charged. They charged on July 10th and I have a whole list of exchange of emails trying to get a refund for that 450 euros. Please help me. No one is being helpful for me.
