Horrible car rental

What a disaster!!! We hiring a car for Friday (my friend and I) at dollar thrifty Sandton branch on Thursday (17 Oct) made a reservation and the money went through as a result the car is reserved, to a big surprise, there's an error, saying "customer is on do not rent list" FOR NO REASON! We made calls and emailed and we had to deal with the situation the following day as early as 8 in the morning. We went to Sandton the following day (18 Oct) the lady assisted us, gave us the name for the right person by the name of Suleiman to sort this out, unfortunately he was in the meeting....

Kept on checking and ended up reaching him and spoke and the email came apologizing about a No Reason error from Isabel Alberts (customer care agent) and she referred us back to Sandton to get the car, when we there, there's no car. Mind you we going to Sandton for a second time and it's around 5-6pm, no help still up until they say we must go to OR Tambo because they have a car we need after we've spoke with Wendell who seemed to be helpful....

We drove to the airport with all our bags packed and ready for the road, we stayed there for more than 3 wonderful hours like fools making calls to the customer care and Wendell. There were pointing one another with fingers over the phones through us saying this and that but nothing for us up until the very same Wendell who seemed to be helpful started to ignore our calls....

I never thought a car rental like thrifty would do such a painful thing to their clients, I mean it's not the first time hiring a vehicle from them, last weekend my friend was an additional driver, in August I was and he was the one who hired the vehicle,it's not as if we didn't pay, they have the money in their account, but they saying "there's nothing they can do, we must come back on Monday because people who deals with money issue come during weekdays" Up until we starting freezing and left alone like street kids while everyone is leaving... We had to go back home and wipe tears while people who call themselves BOSSES are warm in their beds and happy.

Anyone who wanna hire a car from thrifty all I'm saying is that good luck and welcome to the most cruel people in the world, people who'll treat you like a useless dog that can't even bark. I mean like what was hard for them to refund the money and go to other car rentals since they not the only ones before they tell us stories that we don't wanna hear, all they want is to such our blood by keeping our money as if we're their slaves!!!!
