********** Transaction on Customer Credit Card

I rented a vehicle from Thriftyys from 4/10/2015 - 8/10/2015
On returning the vehicle I filled it up to FULL at the service station right next to Thriftys agency.
I supp**** Thriftys with the fuel slip and the Worker receiving the car marked on the return slip as returned with FULL tank.

Big was my surprise a few days later when Thriftys deducted an amount from my credit card. After numerous enquiries I was told it was for 11 litres of fuel.
1 - A car that need 11 litres of fuel will not show FULL on its gauge
2 - There is an 8 km difference in my return kilometres and the kilometres Thrifty claimed when filling this vehicle.

It is clear to me that some theft is going on inside Thriftys by its workers.

This car was probably driven to an area where about 10 litres of fuel was drained out and then filled again on my credit card.

The manager at OR Tambo insist that they filled the vehicle after I returned it. The fact that Thriftys marked the car as returned FULL doesn't make the manager think that there is probably something fishy going on in the branch.

This is a third incident I had with Thriftys of which one was similar.

Shame on Thriftys
