Fair warning to consumers thinking of renting - DON'T

What a terrible experience renting from Dollar Thrifty!

1. After returning the car with a FULL fuel gauge, received a credit card charge for a fuel top up! This happened just a couple of days later.

2. Three months later, received another notification from them regarding a traffic fine and asked to pay. When I rep**** that I would be contesting the charge with the traffic department, they went ahead and charged me anyway!

There is no level too low for Dollar Thrifty to **** you out of your money. Avoid at all costs.

My friend who rented from Avis faced no such problems despite our cars following each other and filling up at the same petrol station.

Don't trying saving a few cents by choosing Thrifty, in the long run you will find yourself feeling yourself cheated at every turn.
