Dollar Thrifty-Unrefundable

I hired a car at Dollar Thrifty in OR Tambo International on 24 August to 26 August 2018 and paid a deposit of R9500 with debit card.

The gentleman said that R9500 is refundable within 24 to 48 hours after returning the car. I was not refunded.

On the 3rd of September I called them on their very useless number (011) ********** , don't believe it? Try it.

Finally I got someone on the 5th. The Lady said, since it's a debit card, it will take 7 to 14 working days for funds to reflect in my account. I was not refunded.

On the 20th I went to the branch in OR Tambo International Airport. The same gentleman with no name tag said, there is a form I must sign and he need my ID copy. I did that. He said I will get my refund within 24-48 hours. He further went on apologizing for a delay. I was not refunded. I have been trying to call Rowina, the branch manager on (011) ********** since 24th up to day the 26th, the telephone is unanswered. I am still unrefunded.

Please someone help.
