Dollar Thrifty selling credit card details

I rented a vehicle in George from Thrifty on Saturday 28 April, I paid the full amount for the booking online when I booked the car. The lady on duty did a pre-authoristaion on the POS device for the excess and then insisted on taking an imprint of my card as well as writing down my cvv. I told her she couldn't do this as it is against PCI DSS regulations and that she had no reason to do this, as she had already take the excess authorisation and she got very rude and aggressive and refused to destroy the copy she made. I posted on your Thriftys Twitter site about this and was ignored. Today R12000 worth of e-commerce ***** was attempted on my card, thankfully my bank blocked all but R700 of it, no doubt the lady that took my card details and/or the rest of the staff at that office are selling credit card details to a syndicate.

I now have to get a new credit card next week which will no doubt cause me much inconvenience this weekend, so thanks for a really bad customer experience
