DOLLAR THRIFTY POOR ADMINISTRATION

On the 16th of Dec I hired a car from King Shaka Int Airport and dropped it off in Mthatha on the 18th. I took pictures and kilometer readings when I dropped it in Mthatha. On my way to Mthatha I reported that the heater was not working and we were freezing cold in the car.

On the 3rd of February they hit me with a DEBT NOTICE of R21,235.01 and they attach a contract of someone else they hired the vehicle to on the 20th of Dec and returned it on 6th January.

When I queried this no one seems to take accountability. There's a hearsay that after I returned the car it never moved the engine was damaged. Yet they drove it for 24km after drop off and the person who hired it after me drove it for +3000 km.

I haven't heard from them since I shared pictures of the car, odometer readings etc. I only received a call from the lady who had sent the DEBT NOTICE acknowledging my query.

They have blocked me from their system due to the DEBT they are claiming against me. I guess this is a minor issue for them because I don't matter as a client. I've been their loyal customer for years but that doesn't count anyway because my money is a drop in the ocean for their size of the business.
