Dollar Thrifty - No Deposit after 2Weeks

<p>I hired a car from DollarThrifty car hire at OR Tambo Airport on 17 August2016. I had to pay a deposit of R3000 to hire the car.</p> <p> </p> <p>At the branch they told me it would take a maximum of 7 days for my deposit to be returned. I was fine with this as I hired from them multiple times before and the deposit is usally in my account 3 days after I returned it. However it is now going into 14 days still no refund. </p> <p> </p> <p>After 7 days, I have called your OR Tambo branch daily ( more than 6 times) and spoke to Sherri/Terry and who ever else answered the phone to ask for the return of my deposit. Every time I give my rental agreement number and am advised that they will call the bank to authorise the return. to date, nothing has happened.</p> <p> </p> <p>Why cant I just get my deposit back as I returned the car within its stipulated time thus I feel its only fair to return my deposit within your stipulated time. I have held up my end of the agreement so I think you should hold up the end of yours.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please return my deposit .....</p> <p> </p> <p>Thank You</p> <p> </p>
