Do to faulty brand new Nissan Datsun Go my son was provided with a rental car. He was involved in a accident at a very busy intersection - no traffic lights working due to load shedding. The parties agreed to move to a safer venue but the other party disappeared. Accident was reported and case number provided to Thrifty. Seven months later my son receives a message that he will be liable for the damage and the whole amount will be deducted from his bank account within 3 days. This is not how you deal with your clients? Shocking service and will never recommend or make use of this car rental.
