Dollar Thrifty car rental are *******

They are ****** *******! Can't believe a company such as Nissan would consider them as a car rental service.

My husband had to receive a courtesy car from thrifty that Nissan organised, pay Non-refundable deposit for the hire, and still pay for a full price of a window repair due to chip on screen during hire plus admin / handeling fee... How the hell does that even work??! Do they not have insurance on their cars?? Why did he have to pay a full front window price and not just normal excess fee you pay when your car is insured?! Plus admin fee for a courtesy car that was organised to the client by another company (Nissan).

AND they doubled charged his account!!!!! WHAT THE HELL THRIFTY?! It's been a week later and we are still waiting for the refund on the unauthorised transactions!

Oh and yes, they do not send a car before capuring your card details so they can just take any money you have without actual authorization of the amount. Yes you sign a paper saying that you will be charged for any additional damages but they do not send you an invoice with a payment date on it, no. They just ****** deduct it whenever they see fit!!!

NEVER use them!!!
