DOLLAR THRIFTY CAR RENTAL AGREEMENT NO: 944415

<p>I, REYNOLD JEROME KING hired a car at Dollar Thrifty OR Tambo on 10 December 2016 and returned it on 1 January 2017. I had to pay a holding deposit of R6500-00. According to their records they have refunded the amount of R6500 on 13 January 2017 (006923 reference number R5500 and 006934 reference number R1000 ). I have approached my bank STANDARD CHARTERED BRUNEI on numerous occassions and they instructed me that the money was never deposited in my credit card, I have to contact Dollar Thrifty. I have contacted Dollar Thrifty on six different occasssions and they just insisted that they have deposited the money. I went back to Standard Chartered and they instructed me to declare a dispute and close the credit card, so that they can investigate. After their investigation they informed me that they couldnt trace the two reference numbers provided by Dollar Thrifty (006923 and 006934). I had to phone Dollar Thrifty again and they would keep me on hold and just cut the call after 10 minutes. I'm desperate waiting now 5 months for my refundable deposit.
