disgusting service

I have been renting vehicles from dollar thrifty for over a year. I always pay at branch with credit card- This time however they were full of **** - must go through central reservation. After I had booked the car 2 weeks prior. On collection I was told no sorry have to book through central reservations. whilst my son is waiting for over an hour whilst i deal with central reservations, i final get paperwork done, only to find the car I orginally booked 2 weeks ago has been given away - my son now has to wait while i literally scream and reservations to get another car, Finally a car is produced, with a flat tyre!!!!!!!! my son asked the attendant what pressure do i put in -- answer i dont know look in the door - Fantastic customer service. Not even a sorry sir, let me change the tyre - nothing.

Now the fun begins - I return the vehicle, - normally my hold on my credit card is released immediately - but no seeing done through central reservations it has to go for a refund, thids can take up to 30 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as dollar thrifty just DONT CARE about loyal customers. I have spoken to shikaar and he is most unhelpful. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find it very strange that a branch can release the hold on your card in 20 minutes yet HEAD OFFICE takes 2 weeks if you ever see your deposit. All I got was excuse after excuse!!!!!!!!!!!

I have looked on hello peter and some people 150 days later still waiting for their deposit.

I will report them consumer council should my money not be in my account in 24 hrs. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
